The string shelf, which was an enormous sales success in the 1950s and 60s, was reintroduced to the market in 2005 by the new startup company String Furniture. Since then, the company has grown rapidly, and at the time of this writing, it has 17 employees. A yearly turnover increase of 30% made heavy demands on the ERP system.
