Etac AB sells products for people with reduced mobility and offers products and services for hospitals, nursing homes, and home environments. It develops products where there is a strong focus on security, design, and quality. With many subcontractors, order management constitutes a large workload for the purchasing department.
Etac implemented the first version of Supplier Portal as early as 2011.
“We chose Orango’s Supplier Portal, and after we had connected six suppliers, we already noticed a reduction of the workload,” says Mattias Hällgren, Business Systems Manager at Etac.
Automated Order Flow
Supplier Portal is used to manage communication regarding purchase orders, forecasts, and delivery statistics. Approximately 100 suppliers are connected to the tool, and in 2016, Etac upgraded its solution to the latest version. The new version fulfills the operational demands, and Orango has also future-proofed the platform.
“More than 90% of our order flow is automated now. We can focus on managing anomalies and have time to work on improving our operations instead,” continues Hällgren.
