Assemblin is one of the leading installation companies in the Nordic region, with operations in Sweden, Norway, and Finland. The company designs, installs, and maintains technological systems for electricity, heating, ventilation, automation, and all related specialist areas.
When Assemblin was going to implement a new ERP system in 2012, one of the challenges was the many different systems and integrations the company used. Another challenge was a lack of coordination between different areas of its operations. At a project-oriented company like Assemblin, the demands are particularly heavy when it comes to document management, sharing information, and transparency between all parties involved.
Today, the project control features in the ERP system 4PS Construct is the hub of the whole operations evaluation process.
After implementing 4PS, our processes have become both more automated and more digitized. That provides our staff with better support in their day-to-day jobs.
Over the years, Assemblin, together with Orango, has developed and upgraded 4PS to best support its processes as the company grows. Thanks to a close partnership and a regular dialog, which makes expectations clear for both parties, the planning and forecasting processes have become much better. Moreover, a large part of the development work Orango has done with Assemblin has led to improvements in the standard features of the ERP system 4PS that better suit Swedish industry standards.
